Introduction to Institute
Respected Motibhai Saheb who was revered as “Charotar’s Moti” by Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi, established Charotar Education Society.
Executive group of institution has made Motibhai Amin Prathmik Shikshak Adhyapan Mandir running in 11-06-1945 to prepare sculptors for the purpose of molding and giving of basic education and to take care of memory of pioneer of Institution’s life and works. Owner able Speaker of Bombay Legislative Assembly Mr. Mangaldas Pakvasa inaugurated this institution.
Education officer of sub better was appointed as first Principal In 1947, The first team of Primary Teacher Certificate starts In 1949 As spinning and texture were used. To boys in recent trend we introduce T.L.M. & Computer Subject Instead of Spinning & Craft.
In June 1951, this institution was transformed in basic training institution. After the retirement of first Principal Gandhi Saheb Mr. Maganbhai Oza Saheb Who had vast knowledge was appointed as second Principal.
In 1952, the hostel of Adhyapan Mandir was shifted from Aryasamaj into the building of society. In 1959 after becoming of Adhyapan and new building of Ambalal Balshala, the Adhyapan Mandir was started and it was run till 1997. Right now, Adhyapan Mandir is running in its own building at Mogri Campus. It has also got new hostel with full facilities in beautiful natural atmosphere.
This institution has Produce about 4000 trained teachers and there by has given a contribution to vigor Primary education of Gujarat.
Right now, with the permission of N.C.T.E. as per the rules. The intact of trainees was gained. In two classes there are 200 trainees are studying. Right now, Mr. Narayanbhai Vani with Five Professors and one T.L.M. & Computer Professor along with three part time Professors and one senior clerk and one peon are working in 11 rooms and along with one Prayer room, the Present Adhyapan Mandir working with his name and trying to give exclusive status to Gujarat Primary Education.
